The Spot Healing Brush
This is a great tool for cleaning up your images and removing small distractions. No need to take samples just click and go. Photoshop uses content aware to cover over the blemishes.
The Healing Brush
This is a more targeted healing tool. You have to take a sample of source pixels to overlay the blemish to be removed.
The Patch Tool
The Patch Tool is for repairs of larger areas. You create a selection and drag it over the blemish to be removed.
The Clone Stamp Tool
The clone stamp tool you need to take a sample of source pixels then paint them over the blemish to be removed. This tool does not perform a blend with the destination pixels it merely overlays them.
